All submitting authors are requested to read, and strictly adhere to, the submission standards described below prior to submitting a manuscript for consideration.*
Current Environmental Issues
- The Journal will accept for consideration any submission with a topic and substance that is focused on or significantly related to a current or important environmental issue and presents a novel perspective on such issue.
- Environmental issues may be presented through a variety of disciplines including, but not limited to, economics, ethics, philosophy, science, or human rights.
Scholarly Work
- The level and substance of the submission shall be of scholarly quality consisting of a superbly composed manuscript containing a clearly presented thesis with accurate, well supported assertions that comport with current Bluebook standards.
Content
- The content of the submission shall not be offensive, libelous or slanderous.
- The author shall not intentionally misrepresent relevant facts or knowingly provide inadequate support for his or her assertions.
Length
- Although there is no specific length requirement, the submission should be long enough to present its topic logically and adequately.
- This standard shall not be construed as a bar to short or lengthy submissions.
Student Manuscripts
- The Journal will accept for consideration any submission from student authors provided the submission meets the standards set forth above.
*Right of Refusal: The Journal retains the right to refuse publication for all submissions that do not meet any or all of the publication standards described above. The substance of these standards are included within and apply to all contracts related to any manuscript being considered for submission, as well as contracts already accepted for submission if subsequent editorial collaboration with the author fails to produce a manuscript meeting these standards.
